April 2025 veröffentlichte Larian Studios den BG3 -Patch 8, das letzte große Update für das Spiel. Er betonte, dass die blühende Mod -Unterstützung es ihnen ermöglicht, den Fokus auf ihre "nächste große Sache" zu verlagern. Es wurde bestätigt, dass sich Larian Studios von den Dungeons and Dragons (D & D) -Ver Universum entfernen werden, um neue kreative Unternehmungen zu erkunden.
