El próximo DLC de Lies of P, "Overture", marcará la primera implementación de opciones de dificultad en el juego.

Como un título Soulslike, Lies of P ha sido notoriamente desafiante, especialmente para los recién llegados atraídos por su narrativa y atmósfera oscuras. Inicialmente, el director Jiwon Choi sostenía que los Soulslikes no deberían incluir ajustes de dificultad, lanzando el juego base sin ellos.

El anuncio ha generado debate entre los fans. Un jugador comentó: "Los críticos siempre mencionaban la falta de opciones de dificultad al hablar del juego. Es comprensible que los desarrolladores abordaran esto: ¿por qué limitar a tu audiencia?".

"Como alguien que empezó a jugar a los 20 años, los ajustes más fáciles ayudan a cerrar mi brecha de habilidad sin sacrificar el disfrute", compartió otro. "No todos crecieron dominando juegos difíciles, y eso es válido".
