Andor Season 2 Now Streaming: Episode Release Dates Revealed

Author : Logan Update : May 13,2025

As a prequel to the prequel movie, *Andor* took many by surprise with its high quality. The Disney+ series delves into the life of Cassian Andor (Diego Luna), tracing his journey from a petty thief to a revolutionary leader as seen in *Rogue One*. Despite knowing Andor's ultimate fate, the series' engaging plot and deeply human stories make it, in our opinion, the best live-action Star Wars show to date.

After a wait of two and a half years, *Andor* is back for its second and final season, and it looks like the anticipation was justified. In his 9/10 review, Clint Gage praises *Andor Season 2* for "building on nearly everything that worked so well about Season 1, and continues fleshing out the prequel era of Star Wars. Ultimately the tale of the unsung heroes of the rebellion, Andor creates very personal stories at the heart of a much larger struggle."

*Andor Season 2* premieres tonight on Disney+, with a unique episode release schedule. Here's everything you need to know to catch up.

His journey is set to transform him into a rebel hero. *Andor* is streaming exclusively on Disney+, the ultimate destination for all Star Wars content. ### Andor: Season 1 [4K UHD]

Aside from streaming on Disney+, you can add *Andor* to your physical collection. Season 1 of *Andor* is available on Blu-ray or in 4K, and includes a number of exclusive special features not available on the Disney streaming service.

Will There Be a Season 3?

Play*Andor Season 2* picks up right after Season 1 and leads directly into the Star Wars prequel film, *Rogue One*. Unfortunately, this means Season 2 is the final chapter for *Andor*. Given the Star Wars timeline, expect some time jumps as we cover the four years following the Season 1 finale.

However, this is not the end for Star Wars. More live-action movies are in development, including one directed by Shawn Levy and starring Ryan Gosling. There are also whispers of a Star Wars horror project from *Andor*'s showrunner, Tony Gilroy.

Additionally, several Star Wars games are in the works, such as Bit Company's new tactical game, *Star Wars Zero Company*. Look forward to more announcements on Star Wars Day, May 4.
