Assassin’s Creed Shadows has unveiled an exciting year 1 post-launch update roadmap, promising a wealth of new content for fans. Ubisoft, the developer behind this eagerly anticipated title, shared their plans on Twitter (now known as X) on May 1, ensuring that players have much to look forward to in the coming months.

Since its release over a month ago, Assassin’s Creed Shadows (AC Shadows) has captured the attention of gamers worldwide. Ubisoft is committed to enhancing the gaming experience with a series of updates, the highlight being the introduction of new Story Drops. These free content additions will enrich the game with new quests, player abilities, allies, world activities, and deeper insights into the backstories of beloved characters, thereby expanding on the main narrative.

In addition to the Story Drops, Ubisoft is gearing up for the release of their first expansion, The Claws of Awaji, slated to launch later this year. This expansion will transport players to the unexplored island of Awaji, introducing new enemies, abilities for both protagonists, and an exclusive weapon for Naoe. Players who pre-ordered AC Shadows will receive this DLC at no extra cost, while others can purchase it separately.
