Clans' Revenge Button Returns for Retaliation
- The Revenge button is making a comeback in Clash of Clans
- Previously dysfunctional, this feature has now been fully restored
- A special livestream will let the community choose fun punishments to celebrate
After more than ten years, it's understandable that Clash of Clans has accumulated some outdated features. One of these, the Revenge Button, has recently received a significant update. To make up for the long wait, Supercell is offering players a chance to take revenge on the developers themselves.
If you've ever had your village raided and felt let down by the revenge mechanic, now is your moment. Not only is the Revenge Button returning, but a new livestream on October 5th will let players torment the team responsible for its earlier neglect.
The livestream, hosted on the official Clash of Clans YouTube channel, will allow fans worldwide to vote on quirky punishments for the development team. Options include unleashing Giant Gas to fill the room with foul-smelling green smoke or activating the Elixir Drip to drench everything in purple goo.

Revenge is finally here
As you might have guessed, all these punishments—and more—draw inspiration directly from Clash of Clans. While the concept may seem silly, it’s a heartwarming gesture that shows dedication to the player community.
Supercell could have quietly reintroduced the Revenge button without any fanfare. Instead, the team not only acknowledged its earlier removal but also turned its return into a community event—turning a long-awaited fix into a moment of shared celebration.
