DC Launches Full-Cast Audiobook of All-Star Superman

All-Star Superman is frequently celebrated as one of the greatest Superman comics ever, securing a spot on numerous top lists, including IGN's Top 25. Now, fans can dive into this iconic story in a fresh format, as DC and Penguin Random House collaborate to release it as a full-cast audiobook.

Meghan Fitzmartin is at the helm of adapting this masterpiece, originally crafted by Grant Morrison and illustrated by Frank Quitely. To mark this new venture, Quitely has contributed a new cover illustration for the audiobook, showcased below:

Set in a unique universe, All-Star Superman follows the Man of Steel, Kal-El, as he confronts his mortality after overexposure to the sun. The narrative unfolds with Superman revealing his secret identity to Lois Lane and embarking on a series of heroic feats reminiscent of the 12 Labors of Hercules. The story culminates in a final confrontation with his nemesis, Lex Luthor.

Mark your calendars for June 24, 2025, when the All-Star Superman audiobook will be available, just one month before the release of James Gunn's Superman in theaters. This audiobook follows a previous adaptation of the comic, which was released as an animated movie in 2011.
