Aladdin’s Friendship Quests in Disney Dreamlight Valley

As soon as Aladdin arrives in Dreamlight Valley, he'll ask you to hang out with the Magic Carpet and snap a photo with it. Equip Carpet as your Companion in the wardrobe menu, then take a selfie with it to complete the quest “Carpet Diem,” starting in the Agrabah realm.

Good As Gold (Level 2 Friendship)

Upgrade Aladdin’s friendship by gifting him his favorites to trigger his Level 2 quest, “Good As Gold.” Aladdin mentions his buddy Scrooge McDuck needs help testing his new security system. He asks you to assist by exploring Scrooge’s shop.

Tasks include taking photos of:

• The door guarding Scrooge’s treasure.
• Both staircases.
• Any creative angles to cover all three requirements in just a few snaps.

Talk to Aladdin afterward to learn the next step: sneaking into the shop at night (optional) while dressed in dark, sporty clothing. Inside, press the red button to activate Scrooge’s security system. Navigate through the shop using the buttons to deactivate lights and avoid detection. Collect floating coins and hand them over to Aladdin. Some coins escaped into Dreamlight Valley, so glide around to gather the remaining ones. Deliver them to Aladdin at home, then snap a picture with him and the gold. Conclude the quest by speaking with Aladdin and Scrooge.

Bring Your Own Carpet (Level 4 Friendship)

With Aladdin settled in Dreamlight Valley, he’s eager to craft a Magic Carpet similar to his trusty companion. First, visit Merlin in the Dreamlight Library to find three essential books:

• Fabric Enchantment (back left corner).
• Carpet Weaving (shelf against the back right wall).
• Flying Technique (left of the desk in the center).

Give the books to Aladdin, who sends you to Minnie for crafting supplies:

• 4 Dream Shards.
• 4 Blue Hydrangeas (Dazzle Beach).
• 4 Purple Bell Flowers (Forest of Valor).
• 25 Fiber (Kristoff’s Stall, Crafting).

Once you deliver the materials, Aladdin will create the Dreamlight Magic Carpet. Equip it from the wardrobe menu and follow Aladdin to the Plaza’s main square. Glide through the Valley to experience the sights, but remember—you’ll need full energy to use the carpet effectively. Complete the tour to finish the “Bring Your Own Carpet” quest.

All That Glitters (Level 7 Friendship)

Reaching Friendship Level 7 unlocks the quest “All That Glitters.” Aladdin plans to gift Jasmine a stunning bouquet but isn’t satisfied with its current beauty. After gathering 4 yellow and 6 purple flowers, present them to him. When Jasmine receives the bouquet, she compares it to the palace gardens, leaving Aladdin slightly disheartened.

Determined to do better, Aladdin recalls a scroll from Scrooge McDuck. Together, you’ll decipher its cryptic message: “To begin at the mermaid’s isle.” Head to Skull Island and use the raft to reach Ariel’s isle. Locate the Golden Sun Piece, insert it into the nearby rock, and uncover clues about the broken pillar. Fish up the pillar piece and retrieve another from a barrel. Combine the pieces at the pillar and take a photo to proceed.

Consult Maui, Ariel, and Rapunzel, but none can decipher the symbols. Return to Ariel’s island, where Jasmine reveals her knowledge of rotating pieces. Following her guidance, align the pillar correctly to reveal a hidden treasure—a golden tea set. Present it to Aladdin, who gifts it to Jasmine. Their heartfelt moment ends with your completion of the quest.

Rewards from Aladdin’s Friendship Path

Each level of friendship brings unique rewards, including furniture, motifs, currency, and exclusive clothing. For example:

• Level 2: Tasseled Red Cushion.
• Level 4: 500 Star Coins.
• Level 7: 1,000 Star Coins.
