Elder Scrolls: Oblivion Remake Expected by June
As the fourth chapter in The Elder Scrolls saga, Oblivion may not have reached Skyrim's blockbuster marketing heights, but it remains a cherished and successful title. Unfortunately, its visuals and mechanics haven’t aged gracefully. So when whispers of a potential remake began circulating, the fanbase responded with eager anticipation.
Surprisingly, the launch might be right around the corner. First, insider NateTheHate claimed that the game would arrive within a matter of weeks—a report later corroborated by Video Games Chronicle sources. NateTheHate believes the launch will occur before June, while VGC insiders suggest a release as soon as next month, possibly in April.
Multiple sources indicate that Virtuos, a studio well-versed in AAA development support and modern platform ports, is handling the remake. Expectations are high for a visually striking experience built on Unreal Engine 5, though some players may be concerned about demanding system requirements. With all signs pointing to an imminent reveal, the community now awaits an official announcement.
