The latest update includes small icons for four of the eight main characters. Clicking these icons reveals brief descriptions accompanied by new artwork from the game's character designer, Toshiyuki Itahana, known for his work on the Crystal Chronicles and Chocobo series. These descriptions encapsulate each character's essence and objectives within the FF9 narrative.

Garnet’s Silver Necklace is now available for pre-order, with a release date set for November 15, priced at approximately 38,500 yen ($260). Vivi's wearable hat replica is also up for reservation, slated for release on September 6, at about 17,600 yen ($120).

The FF9 Acrylic Stand Collection, featuring eight unique designs, is available in blind boxes, adding an element of surprise for collectors.
