Fortnite Adds Darth Jar Jar, Star Wars Battle Pass in Galactic Season

Fortnite is gearing up for an epic Star Wars celebration with its upcoming season, Galactic Battle, set to launch on May 2. This season promises to immerse players in a galaxy far, far away with a Star Wars-themed Battle Pass and an engaging five-part saga filled with surprises. One of the most exciting announcements is the introduction of Darth Jar Jar to the Battle Royale mode, which was revealed during the Star Wars Celebration. The event also teased more Star Wars-themed fun, including the addition of Force Lightning as a new in-game ability.

The Star Wars-themed Battle Pass will feature iconic characters such as Emperor Palpatine and unique mashups like Wookiee Cuddle Team Leader. Players can look forward to new Item Shop offerings, including Mace Windu, and the thrilling opportunity to pilot and co-pilot X-Wings and TIE Fighters. The game map will also include themed locations, enhancing the immersive Star Wars experience.

The five-part saga will unfold weekly with different overarching themes:

• Imperial Takeover – May 2, 2025
• The Pull of the Force – May 8, 2025
• Mandalorian Rising – May 22, 2025
• Star Destroyer Bombardment – May 29, 2025
• Death Star Sabotage – June 7, 2025

This saga will culminate in a live in-game narrative event, allowing players to feel as though they hold the fate of the entire galaxy in their hands.
