Where to Find Wild-Caught Sashimi in Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii
In *Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii*, the only place you can acquire Wild-Caught Sashimi is while swimming in the ocean at Alola Beach in Honolulu. Whether you prefer to fish manually or purchase it directly from a merchant, both methods are viable—but one is definitely more efficient than the other.
Buying from Grayson
The most straightforward way to get Wild-Caught Sashimi is by purchasing it from Grayson’s floating shop—Grayson’s Weapons at Sea—located off the eastern coast of Alola Beach. He sells the sashimi for just $1.60 each, making it an affordable option once you locate him.
Grayson won’t appear on your map automatically; you must first swim near his location on the east side of Alola Beach before he becomes visible. Once you do, you can easily return whenever you need more sashimi. Keep in mind, however, that you can only carry up to 10 units at a time.
Swim-Fishing Method
An often-overlooked mechanic in *Pirate Yakuza* is the ability to catch fish—including Wild-Caught Sashimi—while swimming in Alola Beach’s waters. Simply press the “Catch” prompt when near a fish to collect it. This method costs nothing and doesn’t drain health, so you can fish endlessly without penalty.
However, Wild-Caught Sashimi is extremely rare through this method, appearing roughly once every 50 attempts. Due to the low drop rate, we highly recommend buying it directly from Grayson unless you’re looking for a challenge or trying to complete all possible in-game activities.
If you're short on cash, head back to shore and engage in a few quick street fights to earn enough money to buy what you need—it shouldn’t take more than a minute to gather sufficient funds.
