Bethesda's upcoming Update 3 for Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny is slated for release next week, bringing a host of improvements and fixes. While complete patch notes are pending, initial details reveal the addition of Nvidia DLSS 4, encompassing Multi-Frame Generation and DLSS Ray Reconstruction.

This update addresses player concerns regarding game-breaking bugs that have plagued the title since its December launch. Bethesda previously indicated February's update would introduce enhanced graphics and resolve issues hindering 100% completion and traversal challenges in Sukhothai (vine climbing and wall squeezing). The extent to which these specific issues are addressed remains to be seen.

Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny, a Microsoft-owned title available on PC, Xbox Series X|S, and Game Pass, has already attracted 4 million players. The MachineGames developed title has received widespread critical praise and multiple awards, including three D.I.C.E. Awards. A PlayStation 5 version is anticipated this spring.

Interestingly, Harrison Ford, the iconic Indiana Jones himself, commented on Troy Baker's portrayal of the character. In an interview with The Wall Street Journal, Ford praised Baker's performance, stating that it demonstrated the unnecessary use of AI to replicate his persona. He emphasized that Baker's talent and creative vision effectively captured the essence of the character without resorting to AI. Ford concluded by commending Baker's "brilliant job."
