"Infinity Nikki Delays V1.6 Launch Amid Community Outcry"

After weeks of player inquiries, the development team behind Infinity Nikki has finally addressed the community's concerns. The much-discussed Version 1.5 update, released on April 28th, left many feeling it was incomplete and rushed. The team has now admitted that they were not fully prepared for the launch, leading to a delay of Version 1.6, originally slated for June 4th, to June 12th.

When Is the Update Releasing?

With the delay of Version 1.6 to June 12th, the current Bubble Season will be extended until then. This means ongoing events such as Chase the Bubbles, Rainbow Album, and Where Are the Gifties? will continue. Stores like Pear-Pal Selected/Store: Clothing, Heartfelt Gifts, and the Shake Up Bubble Jar! top-up event will remain open. Additionally, weekly tasks like Starlit Pursuit, originally scheduled for May 20th, have been postponed to Version 1.6.

The developers have issued an apology, acknowledging performance issues across various platforms, including PlayStation. They are working on refining gameplay systems and have assured players that missing storylines, such as Threads of Reunion, are not canceled but merely delayed.

Apart from the Version 1.6 Delays, What’s Up with Infinity Nikki?

Recently, Infinity Nikki has been plagued with bugs, broken quests, and co-op malfunctions. In an attempt to mitigate the fallout, the team is offering daily compensation from June 5th to June 12th, consisting of 120 Diamonds and 1 Crystal per day, which players must log in to claim.

Some community members view this compensation as a strategic move to improve engagement metrics after recent setbacks. There's also discontent among players due to the swift transition from the apology to promotional content for new outfits, which many felt was premature.
