June Update for Pokémon Go Brings Exciting New Content

If you're a Pokémon GO enthusiast, you already know the game doesn’t disappoint when it comes to surprises. As we head into June, the pre-summer vibes might be dampened by the rain for many of us, but the excitement is building with a jam-packed update just around the corner.

This month’s highlight includes three brand-new featured Pokémon: Shadow Regice, Gigantamax Inteleon, and Gigantamax Cinderace. These exciting additions will join forces with five-star Dynamax battles, offering trainers a chance to face off against Chansey (starting June 2nd), Machop (June 9th-15th), Hatenna (June 16th-22nd), Caterpie (June 23rd-29th), and Shuckle (June 30th-July 6th). These battles will appear across Max Battles and Power Spots at select times.

Of course, no major update would be complete without some legendary showdowns. Expect to encounter powerful five-star Raids featuring Tapu Bulu (June 3rd-5th), Groudon (June 5th-14th), Kyogre (June 14th-23rd), and Cobalion (June 30th-July 8th). For lucky Trainers, Shiny versions of these legends will also make their debut.

Speaking of Shadows, Shadow Regice takes center stage in Shadow Raids, appearing on weekends throughout June. Meanwhile, Mega Raids will showcase Mega Altaria (June 3rd-5th), Mega Abomasnow (June 5th-14th), Mega Manectric (June 14th-23rd), Mega Beedrill (June 23rd-30th), and Mega Aggron (June 30th-July 8th).

And let’s not forget the calendar of special events! The serene Serene Retreat kicks off from May 30th to June 3rd. Throughout the month, you can also look forward to events like Instrumental Wonders, Phantom Ruins, Community Days, and a mystery event—adding even more charm to your Pokémon journey.
