Marvel and DC Unite for Epic 2025 Crossover Comics
Marvel and DC have partnered to launch a highly anticipated comic book event set for 2025, promising to be a blockbuster hit. The collaboration features two one-shot crossover specials starring Batman and Deadpool, marking the first true Marvel-DC crossover in over two decades. Beyond Deadpool/Batman #1 and Batman/Deadpool #1, plans are already in motion for another crossover in 2026.
With these crossovers reigniting excitement, we’ve compiled a list of the Marvel-DC team-ups fans are craving. From the gritty Batman/Daredevil clash to the cosmic spectacle of New Gods/Eternals, here are the crossovers we’re eager to see.
Top 10 Must-Have Marvel/DC Crossover Comics

Batman/Daredevil

This iconic pairing tops the list as a natural fit. While explored in 1997’s Daredevil and Batman and 2000’s Batman/Daredevil: King of New York, the potential for these brooding vigilantes remains vast. Who has the stronger drive for justice? Whose past carries more pain? Who’s the superior fighter? These questions demand answers.
Since those earlier crossovers, Marvel’s Daredevil has seen a surge of top-tier talent, making a new crossover ripe for exploration. We’d love to see writer Chip Zdarsky and artist Jorge Fornes, both veterans of Marvel and DC, craft a dark, character-focused noir tale that elevates this matchup.
Teen Titans/Young Avengers

While the Justice League and Avengers have clashed, their younger counterparts deserve the spotlight. A Teen Titans/Young Avengers crossover is long overdue, especially with Marvel’s Young Avengers absent from recent comics. Reunite Nightwing, Starfire, Raven, and others with the Young Avengers for a vibrant team-up.
Creators Rainbow Rowell and Kris Anka, who revitalized Runaways, would be ideal for this project. Their knack for youthful energy and dynamic storytelling would make this crossover a hit.
Green Lantern/Silver Surfer

Picture a bold space cop powered by willpower meeting a cosmic wanderer who once served a planet-devouring master. A Green Lantern/Silver Surfer crossover promises a thrilling clash of titans. What threat could challenge their combined might? Perhaps Galactus wielding a Sinestro Corps ring or Nekron commanding Marvel Zombies.
Writer Tom King, known for contrasting heroes in his Batman run, would excel here. His work on The Omega Men and Vision suggests he could deliver a poignant, cosmic saga featuring these two powerhouses.
Naomi/Ms. Marvel

Though less obvious, a Naomi/Ms. Marvel crossover brims with potential. Both Naomi McDuffie and Kamala Khan embody youthful optimism in their universes. Uniting them could spark a fresh, inspiring adventure, especially since Naomi’s story has stalled since Brian Michael Bendis’ DC exit and her TV show’s cancellation.
Bendis, David F. Walker, and Jamal Campbell, Naomi’s co-creators, would be a strong fit. Alternatively, Ms. Marvel’s G. Willow Wilson and Adrian Alphona could bring their signature charm to this pairing.
Wonder Woman/Thor

When divine warriors collide, sparks fly. Wonder Woman and Thor, briefly featured in 2003’s JLA/Avengers, deserve a deeper exploration. Their dynamic—Diana’s grace versus Thor’s brashness—could lead to a legendary team-up against a god-level threat.
Reuniting writer J. Michael Straczynski and artist Olivier Coipel, who redefined Thor in 2007, would be a dream. Straczynski’s brief Wonder Woman run hints at untapped potential for this epic crossover.
Blue Beetle/Spider-Man

A Blue Beetle/Spider-Man crossover offers a two-for-one thrill, pairing Jaime Reyes with Miles Morales and Ted Kord with Peter Parker. Imagine the chaos when these super-geniuses collide or when villains like Green Goblin invade the DCU. This series could also explore legacy, a theme DC excels at but Marvel often overlooks.
With Keith Giffen’s passing, we’d tap Miles Morales writer Cody Ziglar and Jaime Reyes co-creator Cully Hamner for a lively, action-packed adventure.
Hellblazer/The Punisher

Superhero crossovers often follow a predictable arc, but a Hellblazer/Punisher matchup breaks the mold. Picture John Constantine navigating Frank Castle’s brutal world—or Frank stumbling into Constantine’s supernatural realm. This could be a gritty team-up or a thrilling showdown.
Writer Garth Ennis, a veteran of both characters, is the obvious choice. Alternatively, Si Spurrier and Aaron Campbell, fresh off Hellblazer: Dead in America, could deliver a hauntingly memorable story.
New Gods/Eternals

Jack Kirby’s New Gods and Eternals are cosmic epics ripe for a crossover. These tales of ancient gods and timeless conflicts scream for a sci-fi mash-up, with Darkseid and Thanos sharing the stage.
While Kirby is gone, Eternals’ Kieron Gillen and Esad Ribic or New Gods’ Ram V and Evan Cagle could craft a breathtaking saga. Better yet, let both teams collaborate for an unforgettable epic.
Justice League/X-Men

The Justice League/Avengers crossover was iconic, but the X-Men deserve their turn. Pairing these teams opens endless possibilities: Can Wolverine’s claws pierce Superman? How would Emma Frost clash with Wonder Woman? This crossover could explore the X-Men’s struggle as outcasts alongside the Justice League’s heroism.
Artist Jim Lee, also DC’s President, paired with Scott Snyder or Grant Morrison, would make this a landmark event with stunning visuals and deep storytelling.
Secret Crisis

In Doomsday Clock, Geoff Johns and Gary Frank teased Secret Crisis, a 2030 DC/Marvel event where Superman battles Thor and Hulk sacrifices himself. Though some Doomsday Clock plans fizzled, like DC’s 5G initiative, the renewed Marvel-DC partnership makes Secret Crisis possible.
Johns and Frank are ideal, but if they’re tied up with Ghost Machine’s Geiger, Jonathan Hickman, master of Secret Wars 2015, could deliver the cosmic and emotional depth this crossover demands.
