Microsoft Brings 80s, 90s Activision Games to Game Pass

Author : Nova Update : Nov 25,2025

Microsoft introduces Retro Classics with Game Pass, a partnership with Antstream Arcade that offers Game Pass members a curated library of more than 50 iconic Activision titles from the 1980s and 1990s.

Notable games in the collection include Commando, Grand Prix, Kaboom!, MechWarrior 2: 31st Century Combat, and Pitfall!, some dating back as far as 45 years. Players now have the ability to save progress and resume later—a feature many of these classics never had before.

According to Microsoft, Retro Classics with Game Pass “reflects our ongoing dedication to game preservation and backward compatibility.” The collection will be accessible to all Game Pass members in regions where the service is available.
