Mo.Co Launches Chapter 2: Portal Issues with New Feline Realm
Supercell’s mo.co. has officially revealed the details of its most ambitious update yet — Chapter 2: Portal Problems. Although the exact release date remains under wraps, Supercell has started rolling out teasers that promise an expansive and surreal new experience. Prepare for a world teeming with bizarre cat-monsters, reimagined combat mechanics, and mind-bending maps.
Chapter 2: Portal Problems – Ne.co Joins the Chaos
The new chapter introduces a host of strange and unique enemies. Meet the Arrow Cat, a projectile-happy foe always ready to rain arrows down on you. Then there's Skitter, a crab-like creature that scuttles sideways, making it a tricky opponent in battle. At the top of the food chain sits the final boss, The Lazy Queen, who couldn’t care less about your progress.
Other notable newcomers include Whisker, a mysterious character with unpredictable powers; Scratcher, a hard-hitting melee brute; Duke, a living statue that blends intense combat with immersive environmental storytelling; and the quirky Blue Herring, a fish-toting oddity with his own agenda.
The maps are just as wild as the characters. Dive into the frosty chaos of Frostpaw Dock, where water meets feline foes. Explore the Living Art Galleries, where paintings and statues come to life during battle. Hidden Secret Rifts and whimsical Cat-Themed Dojos also make their debut, introducing fresh terrain dynamics and gameplay possibilities.
New Weapons That Redefine Combat
Weapons receive a major overhaul in Chapter 2:
- The Shotbow makes a permanent return, combining bow mechanics with shotgun firepower and dazzling visual effects.
- The Time Claw delivers powerful area-of-effect bursts every six attacks.
- The Poison Bow focuses on sustained damage over time, rewarding players who adopt a hit-and-run playstyle.
These additions bring more depth and variety to combat, encouraging experimentation and strategic loadouts.
A Fresh Take on Multiplayer
Say goodbye to traditional lobbies — Chapter 2 ushers in a revamped teaming system. Now, you can invite friends directly from events or rift runs, making coordination smoother than ever.
Leaderboards have also been redesigned, featuring private leaderboards based on friend groups and communities. In PvP, expect four rotating modes where you’ll compete for Stars instead of just climbing ranks. A new five-belt progression system culminates in the prestigious Black Belt tier, unlocking exclusive titles for top-tier players.
This update marks the largest content drop since mo.co launched in March, promising to reshape the game entirely.
While we await further updates on the release date, be sure to check out mo.co on the Google Play Store if you haven't already.
