Orna: The GPS RPG Launches Natureblight Event – Confront the Great Murk Threat

Orna: The GPS RPG is gearing up for its next major event—Natureblight—running from May 30 to June 14, 2025. This new chapter continues the Terra’s Legacy storyline, plunging players into an urgent ecological battle against spreading corruption.

Environmental Themes Take Center Stage

Northern Forge Studios continues its commitment to environmental awareness through gameplay. Natureblight marks the studio's second participation in the Green Game Jam, supported by the Playing for the Planet Alliance. As with previous events, the game merges fantasy RPG elements with real-world conservation issues.

Players will journey across Orna’s world to seven actual environmentally threatened locations, each represented by an animal guardian:

• The Beaver in Canada’s Prince Edward County
• Oceania’s Coral Reef ecosystem
• The Mountain Gorilla in Uganda’s Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
• The Bone Mammoth in Dunkerque, France
• The Giant Tortoise in Ecuador’s Galapagos Islands
• The Giant Panda in Chengdu, China
• The Macaroni Penguin in the Antarctic Peninsula

These guardians serve as both ecological symbols and permanent companion rewards for players who complete the event.

The Return of the Great Murk

Through the event, players uncover the devastating legacy of the Terran civilization—their deforestation, pollution, and ecological collapse. Now, the same corruption (dubbed the Great Murk) is re-emerging, requiring players to combat its spread across Orna’s world.
