The Hollywood Reporter announced that Levy's Star Wars project is in negotiations with Gosling for the lead role. Levy has been developing this film since 2022, with a script finalized last year. He's reuniting with Jonathan Tropper, screenwriter of This Is Where I Leave You and The Adam Project, both Levy-directed films.
