The excitement at Star Wars Celebration reached new heights with the announcement that Star Wars: Visions Volume 3 is set to premiere on October 29, 2025. Fans can look forward to another thrilling anthology featuring nine short films, each brought to life by renowned Japanese anime studios such as Studio Trigger (known for Cyberpunk: Edgerunners), WIT Studio (famous for Attack on Titan), David Production, Kamikaze Douga, ANIMA, Kinema citrus Co., Polygon Pictures, Production I.G., and Project Studio Q. This volume promises to continue the legacy of stunning visuals and compelling narratives that have captivated audiences in the previous volumes.

These include The Duel by Kamikaze Douga, The Village Bride by Kinema citrus Co., and The Ninth Jedi by Production I.G. The latter's writer and director, Kenji Kamiyama, made a special appearance at the Celebration to announce a new spin-off series focusing on the continuation of Kara's journey from The Ninth Jedi. This series, set to expand the universe of Star Wars: Visions, will offer fans longer, more in-depth stories.
While details about the spin-off remain scarce, it's confirmed that Kara will be joined by Juro in the 'Child of Hope' episode of Volume 3. This episode is sure to be a highlight, further enriching the narrative tapestry of the Star Wars: Visions series.
