- Warframe: 1999's Techrot Encore update arrives soon
- Launching March 19, it introduces four new Protoframes and the 60th Warframe, Temple
- New endgame challenges and a unique minigame await players
With its Y2K-inspired setting and signature high-octane action, Warframe’s 1999 expansion has captivated fans. The upcoming Techrot Encore update, featuring the return of the ARG band as formidable boss battles, is set to launch on March 19 with exciting new content.
Techrot Encore brings four new Protoframes—Flare, Minerva, Kaya, and Velimir II—to the battlefield. Joining them is the 60th Warframe, Temple, accompanied by Techrot Subwoofer minions and a sentient guitar named Lizzie, ready to shake things up.
For seasoned players, two new endgame stages add thrilling challenges. Stage Defense tasks you with protecting Scaldra during a memorial performance honoring fallen comrades in the city they reclaimed. Temporal Archimedea teams you up with Minerva and Velimir II for three consecutive randomized missions, with the Peely Pix system introducing dynamic modifiers for each run.
Frame Job
One of the most heartfelt additions is the Atomicycle racing minigame at the Höilvania Mall Hub arcade, Ollie’s Crash Course, created by Digital Extremes to honor a Make-A-Wish commitment from James Conlin.
With Tennocon 2025 on the horizon and the relaunch of an upgraded Warframe Companion App in open beta, March is packed with reasons for Warframe fans to dive in.
