Warhammer 40000: Tacticus and Warpforge Introduce New Factions Adeptus Custodes and Emperor's Children

The Warhammer Skulls 2025 event has brought a wave of exciting updates and new content across the Warhammer universe, particularly for mobile gamers. Warhammer 40,000 fans can look forward to the introduction of the Adeptus Custodes and the Emperor’s Children in Tacticus and Warpforge, respectively.

Warhammer 40,000: Tacticus is set to expand with the addition of the Adeptus Custodes, the elite guardians of the Emperor. These warriors surpass even the Space Marines in strength, resilience, and armament. Starting on May 24th, players can experience the might of the Adeptus Custodes in a new Legendary Survival Event, led by the formidable Trajann Valoris, known for his ability to withstand and deliver devastating attacks.

Kill at the Command of the Emperor’s Children!

Warhammer 40,000: Warpforge takes a darker turn with the introduction of the Emperor’s Children. Once loyal to the Imperium, they turned renegade during the Horus Heresy, now serving the Chaos god Slaanesh. This faction revels in excess, pain, and pushing boundaries.

The Emperor’s Children faction introduces three unique warlords: Lord Kaphrael, who specializes in eliminating enemy champions and leads the Callous Blades; Xarahan, whose arrogance is his hallmark; and Lucius the Eternal, bringing centuries of dueling expertise to the battlefield.

Their gameplay mechanics are as twisted as their allegiance. Cards with the Ecstasy keyword activate special effects when health reaches a certain threshold. Cruelty rewards you for damaging enemies without finishing them off, while Stimulation triggers when a unit is targeted by a stratagem.
