На Xbox Games Showcase 2025 Microsoft удивила поклонников двумя новыми портативными устройствами под брендом Xbox, разработанными совместно с Asus. Xbox Ally и Ally X объединяют игровые возможности Xbox с функциями ПК на Windows в облегчённом портативном формате. Рождённые в результате проекта Microsoft и Asus под кодовым названием Kennan, эти портативные устройства оснащены единым игровым интерфейсом, который запускается напрямую в интерфейс Xbox. Игроки получают доступ ко всей своей библиотеке, включая игры из Game Pass, Steam, Epic Store, Battle.net и другие.

Белая модель Xbox Ally служит базовой версией, оснащена чипсетом AMD Ryzen Z2 A с 16 ГБ оперативной памяти LPDDR5X и SSD-накопителем на 512 ГБ, оптимизирована для игр в разрешении 720p.

Её премиальный аналог, чёрная модель Xbox Ally X, получила улучшения в виде процессора AMD Ryzen AI Z2 Extreme с выделенным NPU, 24 ГБ оперативной памяти и SSD-накопителем на 1 ТБ — всё это работает на 7-дюймовом дисплее с разрешением 1080p и частотой 120 Гц, способном воспроизводить игры с разрешением до 1080p.
