Pop Gun: Brick Breaker tells the story of Pete.

Pete is a researcher dedicated to studying parallel worlds.

One day, he and his team successfully opened a bizarre portal, from which horrifying creatures emerged. They managed to fight off these creatures but failed to seal the portal shut.

Pete was sentenced to life imprisonment, chained at the bottom of a well. Soon, more portals began to open across the world, releasing terrible creatures that transformed the world's inhabitants into monsters. The world now teeters on the brink of annihilation.

Consumed by guilt over the consequences, Pete wanted to make things right but felt powerless. He spent 10,000 years in solitary confinement, unable to share his thoughts with anyone but the utter darkness.

Suddenly, a ball of light named Sophie descends into the well from the world above. All of Pete's accumulated guilt transforms into a profound sense of responsibility for this mysterious Light. In Sophie, he finds not just a companion, but his greatest purpose.

Pop Gun: Brick Breaker is an Arkanoid-style game. Sophie and Pete form the perfect, interdependent team. Pete can only move within Sophie's light, and Sophie knows only Pete can seal the portals. Pete, a wizard-scientist, can break bricks and defeat monsters with Sophie's assistance.

Breaking free from his chains, Pete ascends into Sophie's light to finally close the portals and save the world from destruction. His mission is to shatter the portal gates that summon Monster Bosses and break bricks to progress in Pop Gun: Brick Breaker.

The newly freed Pete remembers everything up until his body was torn apart, but not his countless past attempts to close the portals. He does recall his magical skills for breaking bricks. Wielding this magic, you must not fail, or you'll have to start over from the beginning!
