Diablo 4 Exploit Causes Server Lag with Infinite Damage Build
Diablo 4 enthusiasts have unearthed an infinite damage build that not only decimates foes but also causes server lag. Dive into the details of how this build functions and the community's reactions to the recent Berserk collaboration.
Diablo 4 Latest Updates
Infinite Damage Build Boss Powers Makes Servers Lag
Diablo 4's latest season introduces new seasonal boss powers that, when combined correctly, can create an infinite damage build that slows down the servers. A video by YouTuber Macrobioboi, released on May 9, demonstrates this potent build in action, wiping out entire rooms of enemies using specific boss powers and a Legendary Aspect.
To achieve this build, players must equip the Vampiric Curse Legendary Aspect on their gear, which inflicts a Vulnerable status on enemies, boosting damage. This particular Aspect ensures that the Vulnerable effect persists until the enemy is defeated.
The Flesh Reaper's Disruption boss power typically stuns enemies and removes the Vulnerable status. However, due to the Vampiric Curse, the stun effect repeats indefinitely without removing the vulnerability. Additionally, Varshan's Life Steal boss power amplifies damage each time it's activated.
When combined, these elements trigger numerous game calculations, causing server lag. As seen in wudijo's YouTube video, the screen floods with countless skills and abilities, leaving enemies perpetually stunned. Wudijo remarked, "There are a lot of calculations going on; it's very understandable that this is a laggy build."
Blizzard Entertainment has yet to address this resource-heavy build, allowing players to continue exploiting it, albeit at the cost of increased game lag.
Worrying Prices with Berserk Collab
Diablo 4 has launched a collaboration with the iconic manga Berserk, introducing themed cosmetics and items. However, fans are hesitant to purchase these sets due to their high cost.
Players can earn Behelits through gameplay, which can be used to unlock free cosmetics from the Berserk Reliquary. Available free items include:
- Hawks Destiny Back Trophy
- Skull Knight’s Heraldry Mount Armor
- Brand of Sacrifice Marking
- Foretold Eclipse Headstone
- Od of the Berserker Emblem
The premium sets, purchasable with Diablo 4’s premium currency, feature iconic Berserk armors and sets:
- The Berserker Armor, Barbarian - 2,800 Platinum
- The Hawk of Light, Rogue - 2,800 Platinum
- The Struggler, Rogue - 2,800 Platinum
- The Skull Knight, Necromancer - 2,800 Platinum
- The Schnoz, Pet Bundle - 2,800 Platinum
- Warhorse of the Hawk, Mount and Mount Armor - 2,500 Platinum
Each premium skin costs around $28, which is nearly half the price of the base game. To acquire the entire collection, players would need to spend $150, equating to a 15,000 Platinum bundle with an additional 3,500 Platinum included.
While this pricing model aligns with Diablo 4's previous collaboration with World of Warcraft, it raises concerns about the affordability of future collaborations. Many fans are reconsidering their purchases, despite the high quality of the Berserk sets, due to the steep prices.
